My 12 Days of Christmas

Day 2

By now everyone has a set of glass blocks, but several years ago they were an "ah ha" moment for us.  We saw they in South Carolina over Thanksgiving and came home and made many blocks for friends and family as gifts that year. 

We used all white lights, but I may make some more with multi-colored lights next year.  I love the soft glow they give to the floor.

    I love the glass blocks and have 3 that I bought LAST Thanksgiving for a craft...that has yet to be determined. But have you seen them with the collegiate scarves, dressed as snowmen? A friend of mine got us one a couple of years ago and so PRESH! Little UK snowman hat and UK fleece scarf. So sweet.

    How lovely! And being a bit in the back country and not getting out much :), this is totally new to me! Do you just put lights in the blocks and seal them? I need some. Do tell.
