Snowfall, Virginia Style

We had my favorite kind of snow on Friday.
Friday - 10 a.m.
Saturday - 10 a.m.

What more could a warm-weather kind of girl want?

  1. Perfect! It is snowing today here which is lovely on a no-plans weekend but more of a hassle in the week. Of course us Brits cannot utter snowflake and normal life in the same breath, it is always a total drama. xx

  2. Oh I would love to wake up to snow on a morning when I don't need to be anywhere. So glad Mother Nature treated you well! Bonnie

  3. Lovely! Just enough to enjoy it, without the hassle. And on a (long :-)) weekend too.

  4. Beautiful on the ground, even more beautiful when gone.

Nothing here. And that's fine by me.

  5. Oh girl, you don't have to tell ME! So I was a little sad that my Zumba class on post was canceled on thursday night. But it didn't give me a chance to run to the store and get chili fixins for us. I got home just as the rain (which, say what you will, I thought was NEVER going to end) turned to snow. And then Thursday night we watched as it fell in huge wet flakes and covered everything. The best part was, when we ventured out in Richmond with Big Mama on Saturday, it was warm enough to melt and didn't stick around, making life miserable for everyone for a week. The PERFECT kind of snow, in my opinion! ;)

  6. This was the only type of snow we've gotten in my village this winter! If it's going to be cold (which it is, it's freaking freezing!) then I want snow! :)

  7. My kids liked that snowfall even though it wasn't much - but now I am loving this warmer weather in the northeast US! Tomorrow is supposed to be 61! hahaha...winter?
