Wednesday Workday

It's finally a pleasure to putter in the garden.  Look what's appeared since Saturday.

The one group of tulips that keeps coming back.

It's Vinca Minor, but deep purple, not "periwinkle blue".

My neighbor's lilac.

Flowering quince has joined the forsythia - which bloomed weeks ago.

Hydrangeas getting ready.

The first azalea to bloom each year... probably next week.

One of many lilies that are poking thru the ground.

The first, but hopefully not the last anemone.
Enough said!

  1. Today is the first day of Spring like weather here too! So exciting to finally feel the sun on my face and get out into the somewhat neglected garden. Yours is going to be a riot of colour - I look forward to watching it all bloom on your blog. x

  2. So many plants blooming! Lucky you! They do put a smile on one's face. It is nice to see old favorites return.

  3. It's always amazing to see how quickly pretty things will sprout up from a garden :)

  5. Ah sunshine - I am so jealous. My daffodils and tulips are starting to pop up. That is all here in Wisconsin where we woke up to snow this morning.
