Holiday Cheer

There's more to life than the house, and more to holiday decorating than the front door.

How about your shed?
Another one sans bow.  Otherwise, a great idea!

I've threatened to do this with our little shed.  Think I might ... next year.

  1. My, what tall trees you have …:-).

I like the idea, but there are a lot of distractions: parked car, banner …

    2. Funny that the trees seem tall to you. I would have thought that the PN (PNW?) was full of way tall trees. These are mostly loblolly pines and long leaf pines. We are pretty near the western limit of their coastal range. We have plenty of pine in the foothills and mountains to our west, but they may be shorter. Hmmmmmmmm.....

  2. There ARE tall trees in the PNW, but it has been 10 years. One's perspective does change, as with the size of the trees and another one is the color GREEN. It is shocking to see how green places are that get rain.

  3. One of the things that I love about this wonderful country of ours - the incredible variety we have. When we visited New Mexico some years ago, I fell in love with all the RED rocks. Red? Who knew?

But, we really are green this year. mega rain all spring and a lot this fall. i fear winter may be mega-snow, too. would send you some if i could.

  4. I cannot complain about lack of rain this year. We were GREEN this summer, now we are blond. Some chance of rain in tomorrow's forecast ...

  5. Hi Webb, saw a lovely wreath on one of the back downstairs walls of our townhouse complex today, next to their garage. Surprised me at first but then my eyes decided to like the dark green on our classic ivory walls. So, we hit 68 deg yesterday here today & will have "highs" of 39 tomrw. The CO madness continues! If you ever come out to visit your friends here, let me know & ill give you a personal tour of the surprising & intriguing Denver Botanic Gardens, ok?
